UNEMPLOYED IN NEW YORK
NEW YORK, 27th March.
Tim New York Welfare Council lias stated that an equivalent of 750,000 I'ull-timo workers were unemployed in New York City at the end of December, at a loss of 18,750,000 dollars n week in wages, or about 80.000,000 dollars a mouth. The situation at the end of February is said to have boon at least equally as bad.
