RELIGIOUS SERVICES. TjTxEE PUBLIC ADDRESS. X (God Willing.) 1.0.0. F. HALL, 10, Lower Tory street. SUNDAY, at 7 p.m. SUBJECT: " HEAVEN - GOING AT DEATH—A DELUSION." With special reference to the incident of "The Thief on the Cross." IT WILL BE DEMONSTRATED FROM THE SCRIPTURES that the erroneous idea oi! Heaven at death is contrary to the whole teaching of the Bible, and nullifies the plainly-revealed purpose of God to send Jesus Christ to the earth again to establish the Kingdom of God on the earth, and to reward the righteous by inheritance therein. BECAUSE THIS IS TRUE— . (1) Jesus said: "NO MAN HATH ASCENDED UP TO HEAVEN." (Jno. 3:13.) (2) He also plainly said to His own Disciples, "WHITHER. I GO, YE CANNOT COME." (John 13:33, John 7:34----36, Jno. 8:21-22.) (3) And Peter said of "the man after God's own heart," "DAVID IS NOT ASCENDED INTO THE HEAVENS." (Acts 2:34. ) In contrast Jesus stated the truth plainly— "BLESSED ABE THE MEEK, FOE THEY SHALL INHERIT THE EARTH" (Matt. 5:5. See also Prov. 11:31. Psa. 37:9 Psa. 37:11, 22, 29, Prov. 10:30, Psa. 115:16, Rev. 5:10, Dan. 7:27, etc.). Questions invited. No collection. THIS AND EVERY SUNDAY. (Rev. 19: 9, R.V.).'The Disciples kept the FESTIVAL—Passover (without LEAVEN, or Error). I. Cor. 5: G-8. Acts 12: 3, 4, 20: li. Of THE DEATH DAY, or MEMORIAL of Jesus.
