Although on the improve, Keddar is not his old self as yet, .while Brilliant Light is very light in condition. Otairi, who figures at both Auckland and Feilding, was run along over six furlongs with A. E. Stratton in the saddle, The Paper Money gelding got to the end of his task in lmin 24 l-ssec, the last three furlongs being traversed in 40 4-ssec. Sporting Chance (S. Anderson) and Park Acre (R. Boyd) slipped over three furlongs in 39sec, both moving nicely. The pair will be in attendance at Feilding, where they will be piloted by S. Anderson, who is now in residence here. Chief Cook (Shearman) and Chief Line (Bradley) were clear of the Weathervane filly (Green) from Mrs. M'Domild's stable at the end of half a mile run in 50 2-usec. Chief Line is a brother to Princess Betty and shows promise, but the AVeathervane filly, who is a big sort, is still very green. Blue Paper, who will accompany Chief Cook ou the Ixiccarton trip, has made a good recovery from the kick she received on the opening day at the Manawatu fixture, but she was restricted to exercise on the lead this morning. Valueless (Vincent), who was prevented from racing at the local fixture as the result of an injury, is now Quite himself, although he may be a little robust as the result of his let-up. He jumped away at the mile post to pick up Valorous Knight (Green) at the five-furlong post, the chestnut running the last six furlongs in lmin 23 2-ssec and the last five in lmin 7 I-osee. Valueless will attend the Wairarapa Meeting in preference to Feilding. Voitre ha 3 his first introduction to the West Coast circuit when he journeyed south to Westport on Wednesday morning to attend the Westport fixture, where he had been engaged for T. George's Blenhimteam. Voitre will be at Ellerslie for Easter, where he will do the lightweight riding for the J. T. Jamieson stable. I
