SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY.

Splendid items were arranged by the hostess, Mrs. J. Aplin, in her programme for seafarers on Thursday at the Sailors' Friend Society. AH the pieces were encored. The performers were Mesdames Aplin, Strong, Pumfrey, and Stowers, Misses Jupson, Stafford, M'Lean, and Messrs. Glover, Mackie, Pumfrey, Jones, and Thomas. Mesdames Pumfrey and Strong, and Miss Stafford were at the piano. The hospitality of the hostess was very much appreciated. The hostess provided prices for the competitions.
