Dr. and Mrs. Nairn, Hastings, and Misses Philippa and Marjorie Nairn will leave Wellington to-morrow by the Eangitata for England. Miss Philippa Nairn arrived in Wellington from Christelmr-eh this morning. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Lowry, Taihape, left Wellington last evening for Christchurcli. Prom there they will motor to Lake Wanaka. Miss Barbara Gould, Fendalton, Christohurch, has returned horns after a visit to the North Island. . Mrs. Carlyon, "Gwavas," Hawkes Bay, is the guest Of her daughter, Mrs. H. ■' Hudson, Cashniero Hills, Christehurch. . .Miss Gint Trolove, "The .Shades," Marlborough, who has been visiting Palmerston North,.is the guest of Mrs. A. 8.. Whyte, Talavera terrace. Miss Marjories Vaile, Auckland, who has been staying with Mrs. Guy Williams, Te Parae, Mastertoii, is now the guest of Mrs. Harold Johnston, Hobson street. Miss Cara Johnston returned yesterday from a brief visit to Palmerston North. Mrs. Howley, Timaru, is a visitor to the North Island. Mrs. Gerald Davies, who arrived in Now Zealand a short titno ago to visit her aunts, the Misses Tabart, Christclmrth, arrived in Wellington this morning, en route to England. Mr. and Mrs. Pat Ward, Heretaunga, returned yesterday from a brief visit to Palmerston North. Mrs. H. Nivens, Pahiatua, is the guest of Miss Fancourt, at Plimmerton. Mrs. K. Thomas and Miss Olive Thomas, who have been staying with friends in Wellington, will return to Napier on Monday. , Mrs. H. H. Webb, Timaru, is paying a visit to the North. Island. Miss Muriel Hutchinson, Christchurch, arrived in Wellington this morning, and will leave by tha Kangitata to-morrow for England. She will be the guest of Lady Keeble, Oxford, before going to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Mrs. Richard Hudson, Duuedin, has loft for a visit to Christchurch and Wellington. Mrs. F. Buddie and Miss Betty Buddie, Takapuna, have returned from a visit to Wellington. Miss I. C. Ellis, Christchurch, will leave Wellington to-morrow by the Raugitata for England. She will visit her sister, Mrs. A. E. W. Salt, Folkestone. Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Mullins, who recently arrived in New Zealand from England, are the guests of Mrs. C. E! Johnston, Wellington.
