An official statement iv to-night's ".Daily Advertiser" refutes a rumour that Mr. John Bitehcncr is not seeking re-election for Waitaki. The statement says that tho Reform Party has neither instituted nor hoard of any -other nomination. Mr. Bitchener is definitely standing.
