PREPARATIONS TO BUILD

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) NAPIER, This Day. The preparation oi! a new sewago system for Napier South is now in hand, under Mr. G. Hart, Wellington City Council engineer. An early start on tho work is expected. The Commission has decided to proceed immediately with tho demolition of dangerous buildings, in the hope that Parliament will ratify tho expense, even if the cost is deducted from the building loans,.as no erection can take place beforo the site is cleared. Mr Barton hopes that a commencement on the new building lines will bo made in a month, as the new lay-out of tho city is well in band.
