HOCKEY
The annual meeting of the Horowhenua Hockey Association was held on Tuesday, the president, Mr. H. Nicolson, presiding. The following officers were elected:— Patron, Mr. F. S. Easton (re-elected);1 president, Mr. H. Nicolson (re-elected); vice-presidents, Messrs. J. P. Brandon, W. J. Blake, W. Kirker, H. L. Atkinson, and H. Cockrell; secretary, Mr. H. Witchell. It was decided to apply through the Wellington Association for the formation of a separate association. A movement is on foot to combine the Ladies' Association with that of the men, and a meeting will be held' at an early date to copsider the proposal.
