Mr. and Mrs. Lan MaeEwan (Palmerston North) and Mrs. AY. Kerr (Scotland) arrived to-day to slay with Mr. and Mrs. J. B. MaeEwan, Jfitssherbcrt terrace. Miss Margaret Bowcn, England, who came to Now Zealand some mouths ago to visit her mother, Mrs. Croasdailo Bowcn, Christchurcli, will leave by the Eangitata on Saturday on her return to England. •• Mrs. J. G. Coatcs, who has taken a flat on The Terrace for the session, left to-day for a brief visit to the North. Miss J. Gilkison, Invcrcargil!, is among the passengers who -will leave by the Eangitata on Saturday for England. Mrs. Leicester Matson has relumed to Christchurcli from the North Island. Mrs. Noble, Auckland, is the guest of her sister, Mrs. A. L. Hempton, Hobson crescent. Miss A. C. Freeman, who is staying with her sister,. Mrs. V. B. Simms, at Chisenhall street, Karon, is leaving^ on Saturday by the Rangitnta for a visit to England. Mrs. Hazlctt, Dunedin, is the guest of her sister, Mrs. Pcrcival James, Bolton street. Miss I. M. Henry, Wellington, is among the passengers who will leave by the Eangitata on Saturday for England. Mr. and Mrs. G. B. Bradsliaw, Karori, will leave Wellington on Saturday by the Rangitata for a trip to England. Dr. and Mrs. G. Harty and Miss Harty, Hill street, have returned to Wellington from a tour of the north. Mr. and Mrs. IT. R. Hamilton will arrive in Wellington to-morrow from Christchurcli, and will leave by the Rangitata on Saturday for England. Miss Sophie Watson (Palincrston North) and Miss Mardie Ward- (Hcrctaunga) will stay with Mrs. W. Chrystall, Christchurcli, during Easter, and will take part in the golf championship at Shirley. Mrs. O'Loughlen, St. Albans, Christchurch, passed through Wellington yesterday en route to Palmerston North and Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. E. St. Lawrence, Mastcrton, will leave on Saturday by the Kangitata for a visit to England. Misses Greta Clarkson, Marjories Davcy, and Joy M'Kinnon, Christchurcli, will leave shortly for a trip to England. Miss Christine Livesay, St. Albans, Christchurcli, passed through Wellington yesterday en route to. Auckland, where she will be the. guest of Dr. and the Misses Livesay. Miss Joy Pearson, Ke'lburn, will leave on Saturday by the Eangitata for a trip. to. England. . . ; Miss Pattrick, Director of Pluuket Nursing, returned to New Zealand recently from a tour abroad. Mrs. H. Milnes, Shirley, Christchurch, is the guest of Mrs. Tartakover, Wellington. Miss Shirteliffe, Timaru, who . has been spending a few days iv Wellington, will leave on Tuesday to spend Easter in the Manawatu district.
