SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY.

A large audience met the hostess (Mrs. W. L. Brittoti) at her popular concert for seafarers at the Sailors' Friend Society on Tuesday. All the items were encored. The performers were: Mesdames Paul and Britton', Miss Matier, Messrs. Holmes, Taylor, Smith, and Williams. Mrs. W. L. Britton was at the piano. Refreshments .'provided by the hostess were much appreciated. Mr. J. Moore, missioner, gave a. temperance, address and ■ pledges ■were taken. Prizes'for the competitions, came from Mesdames H. Dunn and Perry.
