Ono of the. main attractions at the meeting will be the 'match racing between L. Van Praagand W. Kilmister. Before coming to New Zealand.this season Van Praag made many nptable achievements on the speedways in Australia, his greatest effort result-ing-in tho establishment of a new world's record for four-laps..-. "The Flying Dutchman" was credited with reeling oft' the four laps in 712-ssoc. la view of this amazing performance it is expected-that ho will make very fast time on Saturday. However, ho will'find that Kilraistcr is also a very fast mover, and the pair should provide some rare thrills in their match races. Other events at; the meeting will include: a contest for the Golden Helmet and -a big handicap event.
