LOWER HUTT COURT

The fortnightly sitting oE the Lower Hutt Court was held yesterday before Messrs. F. Feist and F. C. Keiniugtou, J.P.'s. Exceeding the speed limit over the Ilutt bridge cost Edward Jaa Taylor 10s. Cutting in on traffic on the bridge or the bridge approach cost IV. T. Davis and A. V. Wells each 40s. C. C. Pitt was fined 40s for turning a corner on the wrong side. For speeding, a fine of 20s was inflicted on G. L. Spencer, and fines of 10s each on 11. Carter, S. Pepper, F. Rankin, aud L. Warren. R. J. Tuppen waa fined 5s for riding a motor-cyclo at night without a light. H. A. Mason was fined 20s for obstructing; a traflic officer in the execution of lub duty by failing to remove his car from a prohibited parking area. Kur having no number plates on his motorvehicle, A. T. Burton was fined 20s.
