FINANCE AND MATCHES.
The Polish Diet on 9th January passed n. Bill relating to the match mouopoly and the loan to Poland by the Kruegcr group of Sweden. It provides for the renewal of the agreement with the group in question until 1965. The monopoly also includes mechanical lighters. The loan amounts to 32,400.000 dollars (£6,480,000), Ihe price of issue being 98 and the interest SMj per cent.
