Thoir Excellencies the Governor-Gen eral and Lady Bledisloe paid a visit to the National Eifle Association's championship meeting at Trenthain yesterday afternoon. His Excellency presented the prizes to the winners. His Excellency the Governor-General paid a visit this afternoon to the works of the Geat Meat Company, and of Munt, Cottrcll, Neilson, and Company, Ltd., at Potone. Mr. It. A. Anderson, Inverca-rgill, a. director of the Bank of New Zealand, is visiting Wellington. : Sir Francis Colchester-Wemyss is staying, at the Boyal Oak Hotel. Among the guests atl the Hotel St. George are Messrs. 0. K. Kresse, 0. Duff, and F. W. May, Christehurch, Messrs. W. A. Flavell and G. BaxterWilson, Dunedin, Mr. T. M. Henderson, Vancouver, Mr. V. B. Baker, Sydney, and Mr. A. N. Wills, Auckland. Among the visitors to Wellington who are staying at the Grand Hotel are the following:—Mr. Newton .B. Castle, Rochester, New York, Mr.' F. In 1929 and 1930 he' was chosen to organise the great Royal Air Force pageant at Hondon, which he did with considerable success. He had".a fine war career.
