The Probation Officer. (Mr. T. P. Mills) said that ho looked upon the offences as quite serious. ■ When, the accused had got his opportunity from the company (and they had treated him very well in the matter) he had started again. Offences against lemployers wore very common. The Magistrate said that he would take time to consider the- matter, a.nd he remanded the accused for sentence until to-morrow morning.
