He asked whe-, ther anyone ever saw a clean, cow, and pointed out that people professed horrori because a million, lives were lost in war time, y.et were undisturbed though 15 million men had died of cancer in the present century at the rate of 50,000 a year, and though 100 died daily of tuberculosis. Only 400 of England's 200,000 farms produced first-class tubercle-free milk. Ho had no confidence in the remainder. Forty per cent, of England's cows were tubercular. / '
