SPEEDWAY CONTESTS
The Speedway season in Wellington is to end on Saturday nigbt, when special features of the final mooting will bo match races between L. van Pr'iag and W. Kilmister, as wel as a Golden Helmet and other contests. Since he was last in New Zealand van Praag has established a new world's record for four laps. He had a great tussle with Kilmister at Palmerston North last Wednesday, and _he is to have another there to-morrow night, when in addition to the "Big Three" (van Praag, Kilmistei", and Whittle), there will be a special Manawafcii-Wellingtbn- contest and a race for the Manawatu Silver Sash. It will be at Wellington on Saturday night that the final Kitmister-van Praag battles will take place. Both meetings this week should provide sport of a.very thrilling ordcß.
