J Offerings, at the ; wool' sales to-day were 0,778 bales, including 3093 New Zealand. Withdrawals. were approximately 5 per , cent. There, was a large offering of greasy merinos, principally super to good styles, and a 'moderate catalogue of medium Ecoureds, with a fair lot of all New Zealand softs. ■; , ; ■ Strong competition prevailed in all sections, and prices were fully maintained".
