HUDDART PARKER TAXATION.

Instancing the heavy increase in taxation suffered by the company, Mr. J. L. Webb, chairman of directors of Huddart, Parker, Ltd., at the annual meeting of. shareholders in Melbourne, said that in 1929 the taxes which the company had to pay increased 60 per cent, over; the. figures of five years earlier,: although the profits had been.very similar.
