SUCCESSFUL SEASON
I The; animal'r.eporf;. of the executive oi: the' Wellington Hockey Association states that the past'seasoUi was notable for the good conduct-of the players arid the high standard of play. An early bid' was made to regain the New Zealand Challenge Shield from Canterbury, but .the match was drawn. Other reipresentative matches were mainly successful. The grounds problem is still a Vital'one/ The. financial statement shows an improved position with a credit balance of £34 14s lid on the year's working. It is recommended' that Mr. C. S.
