(British Official Wirelcsk.) (Received 23rd March, 11 a.m.) RUGBY, 21st March.

Cambridge won the boat race this afternoon by two lengths and a half. Oxford won the toss, choosing the Middlesex, side of the river, but Cambridge drew slightly ahead within the first quarter of a mile, never losing the lead, despite plucky Oxford challenges. It was Cambridge's race practically from the start, and the crew finished very fresh. The time was 19 minutes 34 seconds. • ■ Cambridge has won 42 races, and and Oxford 40. Oxford have won only one since 1913.
