GUARD KILLED AT P^OST

3PABIS, 21st March. Heavily laden goods wagons from the coal mines at Pirminy became detached during tho night from a train and ran down a grade. A brakesman jumped off while the wagons were- passing through a station and was seriously injured. Tho runaways gathered momentum, dashed into a sliding, jumping the metals, and crashed into huts where railway workers and their families were sleeping, injuring women and children. The guard was found in. the debris, crushed to death. He had remained at his post in an effort to check the headlong rush.
