GAR WOOD'S NEW RECORD
KAYE DON TO TRY AGAIN

Britain held all the world's speed records for land, air, and water till yesterday, when Commodore Gar Wood, in the speed boat Miss America IX., at Miami, Florida, beat the late Sir Henry Segrave's speed of 98.78 miles an hour, established on Windermere last June in Miss England XL Commodore Wood reached a speed of 102 miles an hour. Miss England H. some weeks ago reached a speed of 107 miles an hour in an unofficial trial on.' Lough Neagh, and Kaye Don will attempt a new official record with this craft at Buenos Aires next week. He is expected to have a trial run to-day.
