VISIT TO CARTERTON
The final games oEthe Lyall Bay tournament were played on Saturday'afternoon, the victory going to Lyall Bay by a substantial margin from Karori. The wind was extremely boisterous, and upset fine ulav badly. Karori were 17 down at the nineteenth head. They scored 3 on the twentieth head and 6 on the twenty-first, the final score being:—Hastings, M'Kenzie, Reid Bradley (Lyall Bay), 28; Shaw, Burkel;t/ Platt, Crawford (Karon), 20. The prizes were presented by the president, Mr. W. Sherwood. JUNIOR PENNANT. By defeating Wellington on Thorndon <u-een on Saturday, Central will take part m the final of the junior pennant to be played next Saturday. . The scores were: —Rush, M Donald, Wainscott, Ronan (Central), 19; Meadow, Beveridge, Ward, Jacobs (Wellington), 13.1
