RESULTS AT AUCKLAND

The broadsiding races on Saturday evening resulted: — Big Nine Scratch Race.-IMmister (Rudge), 1; Anderson, Australia (Rudge), 2' BiK^EighrHandie/p.-Allen (Rudge), 3sec, 1; Day (Norton), 3sec, 2;. Time, lmin 29sec. , In both heats of the challenge race, Mattson defeated Kilmister by a _ good lead The third test was not run owing to slight injuries to Mattson, who fell. Ihe track lap record was reduced by twofifths of a second to 19sec by Mattson.
