The market for milling wheat is steady,, but not a great deal of business is doing;. Owing to the dry season in North Canterbury, some of the grain offering is the worst seen for years. Hunters is quoted at ss-4d to 5s 5d per bushel., on trucks; Tuscan, 5s 3d; fowl wheat," prompt, *4s 9%d; spread delivery, Ss 2d.
