Gain (Duncdin); editor of tho "New Zealand Ecehabitc," Mr. A. D. Hassall (Chrislchurch). An expression of the capable servii-.es oJ" Mr. A. Martin, the retiring District Chief ■Ruler, was placed on record. Tlio oificers were installed, and tho next district council was fixed for Duaedia in 1034.
