OHIRO BAY BEACH

As the result of representations, th 9 Minister of Marine (tho Hon. J. B. Donald) has prohibited tho removal of any further gravel from the beach at Ohiro Bay, Happy Valley. The removal of the gravel has constituted a real clanger to tho property in the vicinity of the beach, and the matter was brought under the notice of the Minister by Mr. E. M'Keeu, M.P. for Wellington South. ' During tho past week Mr. Donald visited the locality, and has now given instructions that no more gravel, is tr bo removed.
