The greatest thing of its'.kind eve* witnessed in Sydney took'place'at the Sydney Cricket Ground, when twelve thousand Guides, Scoutsyand Cubs held a combined religious service in connection with Lord Baden-Powell's, visit. Over thirty thousand; were present. After ,the service, Lady Baden-Powell a'ddressqd: the ; Guides,, anftjjord .-Baden* , Powell the Scouts and Cubs.. The latter spoke mostly of his experiences in NewZealand, where he said the Scouts wer« equal to those of Australia. One of the proudest moments Of his life was when he received a letter from a sailor oa the warship.telling of the Scouts' won* derful assistanco in the recent earthquake.
