i Mr. S. George Nathan returned to Wellington by /the Monowai tqrday, after a visit to Sydney and Melbourne. The depression in those.cities, he-says, is being much accentuated by the continued political turmoil.. In Melbourne the outlook is, just; now, brighter than in Sydney. He was assured by persons familiar with financial and commercial conditions that, things will right themselves in time—after political _ affairs : are placed on a stable footing. "The probability of an-early political change:for the better is, indicated by the rapid increase in membership of the ■' All^for Australia League,' said Mr.. Nathan. "The league was start-: ed to combat the extreme ideas of. the Labour Party, and is having a wonderful effect, especially on the people of New-South Wales. In the opinion of responsible business men, the economic position will, as I have indicated, right itself more quickly than i» generally anticipated.'■' ' . , -;..::'..
