A BOY DROWNED
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) ■-TE KUITI, This ■ Day. _ A drowning, accident occurred' in the local swimming pool yesterday af-, ternoori, when Cr,esei. Minoeheri Crossland, aged 10 years, loßt his life. The boy was playing with a toy boat and fell into the water. He was drawn towards the weir, was.sucked under, and became entangled in the grating: The body was ij covered with some difficulty about half an hour later. Artificial; respiration was tried, but unsuccessfully. An inquest was opened and adjourned.
