The '-Daily Telegraph's" political correspondent says that there is intense interest in political circles in the negotiations proceeding behind the scenes for an agreement between the Labour Party and the Liberals. It" is plain that Mr. Ramsay MacDonald and Mr. Lloyd George are both convinced that an understanding is possible by which Labour will maintain office for another eighteen months. Messrs. Mac Donald, J. H. Thomas, Arthur Henderson, and Lloyd George are taking part in the conversations. It is understood that Mr. Lloyd George is specially concerned in securing an agreement by which the Socialists will not attack the Liberals in certain constituencies.
