SYDNEY, 201 h March. I)uriiia: »■ terriliu rainstorm in the city to-'niglit, a, tram slid on the wet rails ami crashed into the rear of another. Both cars telescoped. I'Yivtv persons wcr:: taken to hospital. T\\c were admitted, two in a serious condition. The driver of the train jumped clear, but a man in the front compartment was unscathed. To anyone viewing the broken woodwork and glass,, it is almost incredible that more were not seriously injured.
