WELLINGTON HARRIER CLUB
A veiy successful Beason fiom eveiy standpoint is reooided m the1 annual report of the Wellington Hairier Club, to be piesented at the annual meeting on Ihnrsday evening. TJie N club has forty actno membeis, and duimg the eedbon the aveiage attendance ■nas 25, which is regarded, as a pleasing number in view of the particulaily strenuous season. Ten .club runs.and sue club races were held, ' and in addition"'seven inter-club laces •were contested. By attending every run the following membeis gamed tho clnb'a attendance medal.—li Watson, H. Murray, and T. S W. Mulcahy. The only lady1 id gain the medal was Mrs. Hulcalij. For the fifth tune in succession J. Shepherd won the club championship, aftei a very close race, in winch L. Watson ■was second, with S. M'Kinnon close up third. Although unablo to recoid any victone in the inter-club racs, the club's teams, it is 'stated, performed very favourably on all occasions. The repoit grves details of the winners of vanous cups and races, and expresses thanks to nil -who assisted the club m any way.
