ALLEGED EARLIER ATTEMPT

LONDON, 26th February. The "Daily Telegraph," in discussing the Cambridge suicide, says: "A high university authority has received information to the effect that Francis Ellis, who was found dead on Tuesday, a while ago bound and gagged himself in a somewhat similar manner. He .was discovered in time to save him from death. The incident did not happen at Cambridge."
