FROZEN MEAT

(Received 28th February, 10 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. A private cable received in Sydney intimates that the German Parliamentary Trade Committee approved of the importation of fifty thousand tons of frozen meat, duty free, beginning on Ist March. This is subject to ratification by the Reichstag. The import of frozen meat was embargoed last year. It is expected that if the ban be lifted, Australia will be drawn upon for a portion.
