COMING SESSION
LABOUR'S ATTITUDE
A caucus of the Labour Party will be held at Wellington on 10th March, the day preceding the opening of Parliament. It is expected that at the meeting- the Labour Party will decide upon the course of action to bo pursued during the session. It is freely stated in Labour circles that the party intends to avail itself of every opportunity of opposing the programme of the Government, especially in connection with the proposed "cuts" in the Civil Service, and the proposal to give the Arbitration Court power to revise existing awards. It is considered to be certain that a no-confidence amendment will be moved during the Address-in-Eeply Debate. The Leader of the Labour Party (Mr. H. E. Holland) is to address a public meeting in the Town Hall on "Wednesday, Hth March, when the policy of the Labour Party in reference to the Government's programme will be outlined,
