SWELTERING HEAT
SYDNEY CITIZENS SUFFER
SYDNEY, 20th February. The citizens of Sydney have sweltered for the past three days. • The humidity has been terrific. A fierce hot wind to-day, while banishing the mugginess, drove the mercury to 104 degrees at "2.10 in the afternoon', intensifying the discomfiture and causing many people to collapse. The weather cooled off toward the evening, the respite being very welcome.
