FEELING IN LONDON
SHIPOWNERS ANXIOUS
VOLUNTEERS A SAFEGUARD
(Received 21st February, 11 a.m.) I LONDON, 20th February. Referring to Australian preference to unionist watersidcrs, shipowners say they regret the High Court's decision, but say they must obey the law. They feel that the Government's attitude will still further damage Australian external credit. The shipowners are greatly perturbed.
They hare regarded volunteers as a safeguard, and there has been peace since- they have been employed.
