Francis Charles Ottcrson, a shop assistant, aged 31, was remanded until 25 tli I'ebruary by Mr. T. B. M'Neil, S.M., at .the Magistrate's Court to-day on a charge of stealing a coat, valued at £6 6s, the property of Arthur M'lntyre. Bail was fixed at £20, with one surety of £20. -
The annual fete of the Hutl Yallcy High School will this year be held in the school grounds on 2lst March, and the proceeds will be donated to the Hawkes FJay Ivirlliqiiakc Distress Fund.
