BOYS' INSTITUTE
The Management Committee of the Wellington Boys' Institute and S. A. Rhodes Home for Boys, held its first monthly meeting of the year last evening, when the following members were present.:— Messrs. W. A. Parton (in the chair), C. S. Moore,' T. H. Gill, G. R. Baudinet, A. Johnston, W. Shipton, R. D. Moore, W. Ferguson, J. A. Orr, W. I. Gibson, and the director. » In reporting on the work of the past month the director stated that the club had reopened after the Christinas vacation on 3rd February, when new boys had been enrolled. The annual camp, which was held at Paraparaumu during the holidays, had been well attended, and the boys had spent a - very happy time. Scout parades, band' practice, and cricket practice had now commenced, and the games room and library were well patronised during the evenings. The boarding establishment has two vacancies at present, and extra accommodation is available for boys from the earthquake area.
