The General Committee of the Manawatu Agricultural and Pastoral Association passed a resolution expressing satisfaction and approval that the Government has decided to adopt the economies and reforms urged in the committee's resolution last December, and adding that the committee feels that the Government deserves the support of all sections of the community, as the matter is of the greatest national importance and extreme urgency, and should therefore be treated as being above party politics.
