The Prime Minister, in a message cc aiveying good wishes and congratulations, says:— "The Government is indeed grateful to all those who played such a subst, antial part in meeting the position ur 'icier such stressful conditions. Now th Et special committees representative of .the various local interests have been set up, the great work of bringing the di strict back to its normal state will be resolutely tackled. This work will be greatly assisted by the inhabitants, wl lose natural pride in their town will on Bure their fullest support and coop cration."
