' M( o ' ' •* __„ PUBLIC NOTICE R EX O N A COMPETITION RESULTS Entrants are advised that the correct solutions are: ORIENTAL-E MADONNA-D TOMBOY-A ROMANWC-C WORLDLY-F SPORHNG-B MODERN-H BABY DOLL-C The popularity of our competition far exceeded our expectations and the number of entries reached a colossal • figure. Although only a small proportion of the entrant* found the correct solution, the aggregate number of these, on account of the enormous number of entries, was 2676. As so many correct entries have been received, it has been found impracticable to publish the full list.in all papers. A list of all successful competitors in New Zealand, however, appears in the "Auckland Herald," the "Christchurcn Press," and the "Wellington Dominion*' on February 18th. A letter has been posted individually to all competitors whose solutions were absolutely correct, advising them of the division of the total prize-money between successful competitors, as required by law and the prizes are now being distributed by po»t. - \ * " A full printed list of successful competitors can be obtained by any person interested, on application to the Rexona Pty. Ltd., P.O. Box 48, Petone, whilst the list of New Zealand prize-winners can be seen at the offices of this paper. Apologies are offered to the' public for the delay in finalising the competition. The postponement of this announcement was unavoidable owing to the time required to check carefully the phenomenal number of entries received from all -: parts of Australia and New Zealand. .
