(Beceired 16th February, 11 a.m.) RUGBY, 14th February. Dr. "Weiz'mann, president of th« Jewish Agency, last night issued a statement on the letter addressed to him by the Prime Minister, Mr. MacDonald, which deals with points In th<* Government's policy in Palestine about which misunderstanding had arisen. He said that the letter had re-established a basis for co-operation with the Mandatory and confidence in the economic future of Palestine should revive, and. with redoubled endeavour the world of Jewry should resume its work i* Palestine.
