BUILDING CONSTRUCTION

(To the Editor.) Sir, —Anent the remarks made at the opening of the Municipal Milk Depot, I would like to take the opportunity of assuring people who live in buildings constructed of other than "wood or reinforced concrete" that those buildings are reasonably safe, provided they are designed on proper lines by responsible architects and are constructed by responsible builders and put together with cement mortar in proper proportions. The architects and building authorities will in future, no doubt, demand that nothng but cement mortar be used. —I am, etc., WINGET.
