LODGE MEETINGS
The fortnightly meeting of Muritai Lodge, No. 113, 1.0.0. F., X.Z., was held at Eastbourne recently. Bro. J. C. E. Turner, P.C.P., P. 0., presided over a small attendance. Two' candidates were nominated for membership. It was decided to invite members to contribute to the Earthquake Relief Fund, contributions to which are expected to be received at next meeting. Onslow Lodge, No. 128, 1.0.0. F., N.Z., held its fortnightly meeting recently, Bro. Scott, jST.G., presiding over a good, attendance. Medical accounts and' sick pay were passed for payment. The Lodge made a good start for the year by admitting two new members. Letters of congratulation were received from Grand Lodge for promptness in forwarding halfyearly returns. The treasurer of the .Christinas Tree Committee produced a bal-ance-sheet, showing a small balance. This was adopted. Remits for Grand Lodge session were discussed, and will be tabled at next meeting in order to finalise matters.' Ah official visit was received from officers and members of Southern Cross Lodge. —
