IMPROVED WOOL MARKET
(Received Will February, 11 a.m.) LONDON", loth February. Greater activity is reported in the wool trade in Fnmce. Prices for tops have improved and yarns are' in stronger demand at prices! slightly better. There is more inquiry for noil?. The general tone of the trade is miicli brighter. The futures markets at Antwerp and lloubaix reflect the improvement in prices. Tops in. Germany are slightly better. Bi'itish business is quiet, although topmakers are well employed. Only 52 per cent, of the looms are working, but the j knitting and hosiery trades are fairly ! busy.
