Friday's closing prices for the following raw materials were as follow, those for 7th February/being given in parentheses:— Cotton.—Liverpool, quotation, American middling upland, March delivery, u.S2d per 11) (5.50 d). ,„, „ , Kubber.—Para, 4.% d per lb (4%d); plantation, smoked, 3 15-16 d per lb (3. 13-lCd). Jute.— February-March shipment, £15 per ton (£l4 7s 6d). Hemp.—None offering. Copra.—February - March shipment. South Sea, £14. 5s per ton (same); plantation Rabaul, £14 7s 6d per ton (same). Linseed oil, £18 10s per ton (same). Turpentine, 37s (3d per cwt (37d). Osmiridium:. Nominally unchanged (Tasmanian^ £15 per oz, South African £12).
