The anti-ryclonc covering Xew Zealand, which on Saturday and Sunday was centred over the southern portion, lias becomo mucli more extensive, and pressure this morning wai nearly everywhere above 30.201n. Fresh southerly winds and squally, showery conditions prevailed along the enst coast during Saturday, and a few isolated showers also fell on Sunday morning, but Sunday proved a fine day in most districts. During Sunday night, however, som« heavy rain fell in North Auckland with thunder at places. The western districts experienced mainly fine weather during the week-end.
